FAQ
Straight answers about watch scoring, voice announcements, tournament formats, live sharing, and what happens when the court does not go exactly to plan.
Padel Tempo is a padel score and tournament app for players, regular groups, and organizers who want less admin around the match. You can keep score, use a connected watch, hear automatic score announcements, run Americano and Mexicano tournaments, keep standings organized, and share match or tournament results in a browser.
Yes. Padel Tempo is built around wrist-first scoring across Apple Watch, Wear OS, and Garmin experiences. On supported watch flows, you can update the score, undo a mistake, and follow match controls without repeatedly taking your phone onto the court.
No. A watch is a convenience, not a requirement. You can run the match from the phone when no watch is connected, while the wearable experience is there for players who want to keep the phone off the court as much as possible.
Yes. Padel Tempo can automatically announce score changes from the phone or a connected speaker, including normal point scores, deuce, advantage, Golden Point, games, and sets. The goal is simple: everyone can stay aware of the score without stopping to look at a screen.
Padel Tempo supports real padel match flows including traditional deuce and advantage, Golden Point, configurable sets and tie-breaks, server tracking, and undo when a point needs correcting. The app handles the scoring structure so players can focus on the rally.
You can run Americano, Team Americano, Mexicano, and Team Mexicano. Americano uses a predefined round schedule, while Mexicano generates future matchups from the current standings. Team variants keep fixed pairs together instead of rotating partners.
Mexicano adapts as the tournament progresses. After the current round is completed, the accumulated standings are used to generate the next round, creating increasingly competitive matchups. Because future rounds depend on current results, correcting a result can also change later generated matchups.
A round uses the courts that are actually available, with no more than one match per court. Players who do not fit into that round rest, while Padel Tempo keeps court assignments, rest rotation, and tournament state organized. That means you can run a larger group without maintaining a separate spreadsheet.
Yes. Completed results feed the tournament standings, including points and the win-draw-loss record used by the format. Match and tournament history stays organized after play, so the event remains useful as a record instead of disappearing when the last match finishes.
Yes. Public Live gives spectators one browser link and does not require an app or an account. Classic Matches can update point by point, while tournament pages show published match results, standings, progress, and final results as the organizer updates them.
Yes. Padel Tempo includes a dedicated Big Screen view designed for TVs and projectors. It prioritizes the current score or tournament state at viewing distance, so players and spectators can follow the action without crowding around the organizer’s phone.
The essential match experience is designed with a local-first core, so scoring remains useful when connectivity is unreliable. Internet access is still required to publish and receive Public Live updates, so spectators may temporarily see the latest valid published state until the connection recovers.
Corrections are explicit instead of being hidden. During a match, you can undo scoring mistakes, and tournament results can be corrected when needed. In Mexicano formats, a corrected result can affect the standings and regenerate future matchups so the tournament remains coherent.
